I like to use a folding wood table where I put my tote on whenever I decided to use a clear plastic tote to hand wash any clothes. The table also helps with your back as you hand wash by standing.
Not many will agree with this but I sometimes use 1/8 cup of non-bleach around the collar of a shirt to remove hard stains.
Poor on the bleach and start washing the collar right away so it doesn’t bleach the color out of the shirt.
You need a clothespin if you decided to hand dry your shirt or clothes. These wood pins hold great and I like using them to hang clothes either outside or indoors.
you need a clothesline to hang your washed clothes on. You can have one in your basement, outside, or where it’s convenient for you.

1. For this second wash. At this stage, I just give the shirts a rough wash fill the tote with new lukewarm water to the same level as the first step.
Not adding any more soap you could but because you still have a lot of soapy scum in the shirts so just a rough wash is the best way to go until every piece is washed and squeeze. Throw this water away as well.
